Important information about Exams....!

'No grades without exams,' says Shafqat Mehmood Federal Minister for Education.

 Shafqat Mehmood said Wednesday no student would be awarded grades without attempting examinations this year. "If we do not conduct the exams, then students will not even employ minimum efforts to study,"

 The federal minister said, addressing a press conference in Islamabad. Mehmood's press conference came after he chaired a meeting of provincial education ministers and officials from the education departments, according to the education ministry. Shafqat Mehmood


 1. Exams will only be conducted for optional (field related) subjects e.g only Physics Chemistry and         Bio for F.Sc Pre medical students

  2. Exams will be conducted after 10 July. 

  3. Boards have been asked to give reasonable gaps between papers

  • Elective subjects must be according to smart syllabus as announced before.  

Elective subjects:

                             For class 9, 10:

       (Science Group)     Biology, Chemistry, Physics ,Mathematics and Computer Science  

        (Arts Group)         G.Science, G. Math, Punjabi, PHY. Education, Home Economics,  and other                                          minor subjects.          e.g Islamist   

                            For class 11th & 12th:       

          (Science Group)               Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics,and  Computer Science 

          (Arts Group)            Punjabi, PHY. Education, Home Economics,  and other minor subjects.                                                      e.g Islamist

  Rupee makes massive gains in interbank market Local currency closes at Rs275.44 against  greenback following IMF deal Money dealers count Pakistani rupees and US dollars at an exchange in Islamabad. — AFP/File KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Tuesday further strengthened in the interbank market, a day after making a rich recovery against the dollar following the much-awaited deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The country on Friday secured a $3 billion short-term financial package from the IMF, giving the economy some much-awaited respite as it teeters on the brink of default. The local currency closed at Rs275.44 against the greenback, gaining Rs10.5 or 3.83% in the interbank market. It closed at 285.99 on June 27 — the last trading session before the Eid holidays. The dollar had on May 11 soared to a record-high Rs290.93 in the interbank. Since then, it has posted a drop of Rs23.43

  Pakistanis can travel to 11 countries without visa   Though the Pakistani passport is considered better than only three countries including Afghanistan yet there are also countries where Pakistanis can travel without a visa. According to the Visa Index report, Pakistani passport holders can travel to 11 countries and states without obtaining a visa. These countries include  Cook Islands, Dominica,  Haiti,  Micronesia,  Montserrat,  Niue,  Saint Vincent   and the  Grenadines,  Tajikistan,  Gambia,  Trinidad and  Tobago. In addition to these, Pakistani passport holders can easily obtain a visa upon arrival in 21 countries including Qatar, Somalia, Maldives, Senegal, Rwanda, and Cambodia.
